Shore Jigging Technique

The technique of shore jigging derived from medieval Japan and spread quickly to the rest of the world. Most users of this technique are in countries along the Mediterranean Sea coast.

Basically, Shore Jigging fishing technique is to resemble a popping/casting using the Jig (artificial lures) as bait and done from the coast (land base). Shore Jigging can be done on all along the coastline, including a rocky cliff, breaking the waves as well as the pier. The interesting thing about this technique is a way to play a jig that makes movement resembling a fish dying.

One advantage of this technique is that every user can develop the techniques alone or combine techniques. Good slow, medium or high-speed retrieve. If the circumstances allow it, you just need to let the jig fall (free fall) after being pulled (retrieve) 2/3 into the water and carried out repeated restarts to attract the attention of the predator fish. There are many types of fish that can be captured with the technique of shore jigging including amberjack, snapper, tuna, Grouper, and much more.

The thrill of fishing using Shore Jigging-very unusual. Especially when you're fishing from cliffs, where movement is limited so it requires patience to beat the fish.
